Burnt Store Road-Middle Segment

This project took the existing 0.9-mile stretch of two-lane undivided roadway configuration and upgraded it to a four-lane divided roadway configuration from NW 4th Terrace to NW 9th Terrace. Included in this project was a 195’ dual span bridge over the Hermosa Canal founded on 24” square concrete piles. In addition to the new roadway and bridge construction, the project included the milling and resurfacing of the existing roadway, the construction of a 10’ wide asphalt path, and the installation of steel utility casings for future use by the City of Cape Coral.
