In moments of rebuilding, we find strength together. Wright Construction Group is honored to have joined the Fort Myers Beach Fire District for the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the new Fort Myers Beach Fire Station on October 25th, 2024.
This new fire station, replacing the previous one significantly damaged by Hurricane Ian, will stand as a symbol of resilience and renewal for Fort Myers Beach. It will restore a sense of safety, strength, and hope for the Fort Myers Beach community and all who visit.
The groundbreaking ceremony featured an invocation by Beach Baptist Church Elder Doug Jones and a heartfelt welcome from Fire Chief Scott Wirth. Special remarks were delivered by Mary DeRoune (Zimmer), whose grandparents Don and Ora Zimmer generously donated the land for this station, along with Board Chairman John Bennett, Fort Myers Beach Mayor Dan Allers, and Senator Jonathan Martin.
We’re thrilled to serve as Construction Manager of the Fort Myers Beach Fire Station 31 and contribute to building a foundation for a safer, more resilient future for the community.
