Lovers Key State Park - Hurricane Restoration

SCOPE

The Lovers Key Park was heavily damaged by Hurricane Ian and Wright Construction was hired by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to manage the reconstruction and restoration of the park. The repairs included the reconstruction of Park Rangers residence and public facilities. Reconstruction of all sewer systems including the replacement and restoration of the lift stations, grinder stations and sanitary lines also took place. Ther scope elements included the reconstruction of pedestrian bridges, tram bridges and pathways, the kayak launch station, clearing of exotic removal, and restoration of all environmentally sensitive areas.
