Fort Myers Beach Fire Station 31

 The project consists of the complete construction and site work of a 13,451 SF, 2-story fire station with a three lane apparatus bay as well as full living quarters consisting of 5 individual bunk rooms, two bunk rooms that include en-suite restroom and showers, two individual restrooms/showers, kitchen, day room, gym, laundry room, and other facilities to provide all the necessities and conveniences modern fire fighters require. The building and site will be capable of running on full power via generator in the event of a power outage. The project also includes full parking and site development/underground utility work. Due to its location, the fire station was designed and is being built to withstand up to 200 MPH winds and will be fully flood-proofed at all interior areas that are below the flood plain of the property.
